Ideally the candidate partner would have a great range of furniture at attractive consumer prices and have a strong Eco credential such as sustainable sourcing, preloved furniture or upcycled furniture. Strong customer focus and service are essential.

Option #1 Rental Model

Rental rate is set at an ‘All-In’ €8 per sq ft per year (which will include rates and utilities).

A strong focus on marketing (particularly through social media) must form part of any candidate’s business plan

Proof of concept in an existing location would be a huge advantage

Terms of lease rental agreement can be highly flexible from a minimum 3 month term, ability to expand if successful.

Option #2 Nominal Rent and Profit share

Rental rate is set at an ‘All-In’ €3.50 per sq ft per year (which will include rates and utilities).

Partner retailer to pay commission on sales based on

a 5% commission on sales where partner takes sales and payment directly

a 10% commission on sales where SOLAS Shop take sales and payment on behalf of partner
