Tidy Towns monthly Litter Pick survey carried out by SOLAS

SOLAS is very actively involved in Portarlington tidy towns from planting 10,000 Daffodil bulbs along an 800m section of public roadway on the Dublin side of town, to organising the annual Spring Clean, Cutting the grass outside SOLAS (800m long and 6m wide) every 2 weeks during the growing season.
SOLAS also conducts monthly litter picks and does a survey and video of what has been dumped to give an insight into the issues in keep our town and country green and prestine.
